Vehicle Description 1964 Porsche 356C Coupe • VIN 221121 • 1600cc push rod with 100hp • Manual 4-speed transmission • Completed on December 4, 1964 Southern California 356 for the past 25 years finished in a desirable color combination, Black over Black with Recaro Classic C electric and heated seats. Initially delivered from the factory in Light Ivory (6404) with a Black leatherette upholstery. According to the Certificate of Authenticity, factory options include Koni Shock Absorbers, Compensating Springs, an Extended Steering Column, a Wood Steering Wheel, a Tinted Windshield, and Side Body Moldings. The paintwork is in very good condition, complemented by polished brightwork. Both driver and passenger sides are equipped with Sebring-Mach 1 mirrors painted in body color. The upholstery is in outstanding condition and features a Nardi wooden steering wheel, VDO instrumentation, 2-point Crow Racing seatbelts, and Recaro Classic C seats. According to the documentation, this 356 was subjected to a 2-year cosmetic restoration in 2001. The paintwork was done by Mike's Auto Body in Los Feliz, California. Essential components for the restoration were sourced from Stoddard, while Auto's International provided a new headliner, carpets, door panels, armrests, garnish rails, and rear quarter panel inserts. It is powered by a 1600cc flat-four engine with a 4-speed manual transmission (Type 741) and a 4-wheel disc braking system. The electrical system has been upgraded and converted from a 6-volt system to a 12-volt system. Complete with a Certificate of Authenticity and 23 years of service history.
