This 1985 Morgan +8 I have owned for 20 years and now has 31136 miles. It is a beautiful driver that is an ok show car with I believe has the original paint. There are areas of crazing in the paint with excellent shine.
As with all Morgans of this era they were imported to the USA, as propane cars. In 1995 Morgan of New England converted it to gasoline. The car has a Holley 4 barrel carburetor with dual air inputs, aluminum radiator, aluminum bumpers, and lowered to European height. It also as has an upgraded Morgan front suspension.
This car has a 3.5 liter Rover engine all well maintained. As far as I know it was always garaged with no rust or wood rot. It has 2020 Morgan sports seats which match the remainder of the original interior to about 95%. The original seats are excellent and are known as tombstone seats because they look and feel like tombstones are included.
The new seats are very comfortable to me and I am 6' 150 lbs. The dash is a Mattias Kauffelt custom from Germany with matching wood Moto-Lita steering wheel and gear shift knob with an AM/FM/CD player.
The top has been used twice since I've owned the car and doesn't look like the previous owners used it very much, and in excellent condition.
According to many Morgan experts, it may be the only +8 with 15" 72 spoke Borrani wire wheels. They were on my Aston DB6 which were off a Maserati and narrowed professionally in California. The original 5 wheels are included and spare parts.
The car has been serviced in November 2024 and new 205 60R 15 all weather radials were installed. The color is Westminster green with a tan interior.
In the rear I installed a panhard rod and alfin drum brakes. The front brakes are disc.
